March 18,2013: This is an old one,I have written for the hostel wall magazine, decided to add it to my collections in the blog... India 2013: The mighty land of India –the land which once was the pedestal of glory,culture and heritage lies crippled and devastated. It now is in fact a caricature of its past. it is bleeding with wounds of corruption, pollution, terrorism  and inhumane barbarism. The  mighty Brahmaputra is weeping,the sandy deserts of the Thar no longer shines with the sun beams,Kanyakumari no longer blushes with the kiss of the Indian ocean And the Himalayas have hung down their heads in shame..yes India is dying and the nature is mourning... It is time that a messiah comes to rescue it from the clutches of doom..and that savior lives in each one of us... we the youth..we are the hope, we are the change...We can alone join hands to lift the shroud off our dear nation and give it a new lease of life. The most complex 4 lettered word..it comprises within itself a myriad of emotions...care,trust,anger,anxiety...As a kindergarten kid , I still remember those moral science lessons..we must love GOD, we must love our parents, our teachers ,our friends.With age the perception and definition of love changes but that one thing that remains constant is that the person whom you love is always the one who tends to hurt you the most. It has happened many a times with me that if an enemy taunts me a hundred times ,I am least bothered,but a single misgiving by a friend murders me within . This I believe maybe because LOVE comes along with a bunch of expectations...and it is these expectations that shroud you from the truth and reality seems a harsh tale to witness.  If heights of expectations are not attained, floods of tears over pour the eyes and it is then you learn that love is not all about the expectations that are not met..but also exploring happiness in the dreams that...
