Love is Love An unmitigated sense of euphoria delves me in, For today I see colours, The cascading hues of rainbow painting the horizon, In a world (which) till yesterday for me was black & white. Love is blind, they say, and so is justice, Says the lady with a black cloth over her eyes. “ I differentiate none , My pangs of justice evades the man created boundaries, As does love.” Love is love. But wait, what do I see? My eyes can see the colours, but you still have shackled your minds. Let the colours come in, let the light flow , It is not a matter of wrong or right, But a matter of pride, It is okay to be different and yet in love. Love is love. Do you not want me to spread my wings that were tied for long? Or to celebrate the romance in the air in the spring, As the birds chirp and the cuckoo sings. I too feel- feel love in me. Love that I want to express and reveal. Take me as I am,and feel, Love is love.

The love in our times…. The flame of the midnight lamp wickers with the gust of wind, And I sit there and all I could do is think.. The book before me speaks of something called projectile motion, But my heart and mind is singing ballads for you in unison. Oh! I still remember the day I first set my eyes on you, It felt so ethereal yet so real. Your smile that curled on your lips, fading into the dimples in your cheeks. The ringlets of hairs that lay strewn on your forehead, You tucked them behind your ears every time but they had their own will, In the same way as you tucked the strings in my heart, Oh! You had that skill! From that day till today, all I could decipher is you, Your presence that feels so heavenly yet so earthy. Now do you recognise me?
