Love is Love
Love is Love
An unmitigated sense of euphoria delves me in,
For today I see colours,
The cascading hues of rainbow painting the horizon,
In a world (which) till yesterday for me was black & white.
Love is blind, they say, and so is justice,
Says the lady with a black cloth over her eyes.
“ I differentiate none ,
My pangs of justice evades the man created boundaries,
As does love.”
Love is love.
But wait, what do I see?
My eyes can see the colours, but you still have shackled your minds.
Let the colours come in, let the light flow ,
It is not a matter of wrong or right,
But a matter of pride,
It is okay to be different and yet in love.
Love is love.
Do you not want me to spread my wings that were tied for long?
Or to celebrate the romance in the air in the spring,
As the birds chirp and the cuckoo sings.
I too feel- feel love in me.
Love that I want to express and reveal.
Take me as I am,and feel,
Love is love.
